There are some "spoilers" in the short stories when the characters refer to events that happened at the conclusions of the different novels. While not required, I think these stories are best enjoyed once you have finished all the main novels. SPEC OPS THE LINE REVIEW ANGRY JOE SERIESThis book is a series of short stories that take place in timelines around those featured in the novels. If you have not tried Maberry, get Patient Zero, a great Zombie and Joe Ledger book. Passes the time and makes the miles go by faster. It may be silly, but it entertains me and helps me forget the mundane parts of life. I love this Mad Scientist, genetically altered, freaks and monsters and super humans. I know to some, these type of books may seem sophomoric and I will not argue with that, but to a lot of us guys this is like Romance Novels to girls. Church eats only vanilla cookies, instead of having the chocolate goodness of an Oreo. Ledger and Doctor Who don't get along, etc. Yea, Say and a Fragment of time or moment or also often used. It will bounce around in the head, causing much brain damage. You are repeatedly told to use a small caliber gun when shooting someone in the head. You will hear what a freak computer, Mind Reader, is and it being a ghost several times. IF YOU LOOK TO CLOSELY FOR LOGIC, YOU'LL INJURE YOURSELF Since these are stand alone stories, you will get several repeated introductions. I have only read the first three books, and instead of being spoilers, they just made me more anxious to get caught up on the series. Some of these claim to have spoilers for some of the books. If you are a Joe Ledger fan, I do not think you will be disappointed in any of these stories. Several reviewers have done that so, I won't repeat them. YEA, I WATCH CNN, LIFE SUCKS, GET TO THE POINT If you have listened to Missing Files, then you have already heard the first four stories, which is why I wish Audible would list all stories in all anthologies.
